At this stage of my life, I find myself reflecting deeply. Perhaps I must first muster the courage to embrace my imperfections as a husband and father. By accepting who I am during this period, I may ultimately create opportunities to bring about more positive changes for my family.
I can assure that you're not that weird. I suffer from the same problem (hardly at home except for new year) and most of my friends do too. I also came to the realisation that no, I cannot live up to their expectations either, as the things I want and the things they want is vastly different.
