I met my mentor, and, of course, the first thing people ask me, including her, is why my life is so fucked up.
“Why couldn’t you get a job? What’s up with your visa?”
But at least one good thing is that she is nice enough to listen rather than shut me down. So I told her my crazy and unrealistic idea, and she said okay, that might work.
She is an entrepreneur, graduated from MIT MBA, making 2M with her own company. That’s why I want to learn from her. I told her I wanted to show her the project I built. But she went…
I felt a bit awkward.
And she said, “But sure, show me.”
So I pitched her my projects on digital interactive learning. Well… and forced her to play with it a bit. And she was amazed.
She said, “You know, for most normal kids, I would advise them to get a job and work harder. But you shouldn’t be constrained by the setup you are in now.”
When I was ready to leave, she turned to me and said, “so for your project…can you make one for me too?”And today, she sent me her design of what she wanted to make.
Maybe I just have found my first customer (wink)
